_{As the most traditional and strict member of his household, she was responsible for much of the development of his thought patterns over the years.  However, he had more questions than answers about her lifetime, and upon digging into her past he begins to question much about the Asukai.  Her death, however, lessened much of the pressure on him, and freed him up to be less of a prick.}

_{-breaks wrist; doesn't let it heal properly}

_{An initially minor injury now hinders him; his wrist is constantly stiff and occasionally painful.  Has to reevaluate his fighting style somewhat, and chooses to focus more on illusionary techniques than physical ones, which proves to be an uphill battle.  Does his best to hide the damage but fiddles with his wrist pretty constantly.}
